Revisiting Stellar Winds: What do they do, and what does this mean for RAMSES simulations?

Recent simulation work typically finds that stellar winds are less effective than photoionisation at driving flows from massive stars out to galactic scales. However, observations that now capture the 3D dynamics of star-forming regions in our Galaxy are finding that certain nebulae appear to be driven largely by winds, with a minimal role for photoionisation. I present simulations with RAMSES of wind and radiation-driven nebulae with self consistent star formation, and discuss perspectives for resolving this discrepancy between current theory and observations.
